FDE DELTA · ENTERPRISE AI CAPABILITY ENGINEERING

Choosing the right AI is only the start. Turning it into a business capability is the outcome.

FDE Delta starts with one real business task. We diagnose the workflow, select the right AI opportunity, and package business context, methods, tool access, and quality controls into AI capabilities that can be used, evaluated, and governed.

WHAT THE ORGANIZATION ALREADY HAS

  • AI tools already acquired
  • Business knowledge
  • Real workflows

WHAT THE ORGANIZATION CAN OPERATE

  • Usable
  • Testable
  • Governed
  • Maintainable

THE MISSING LAYER

The AI tools are in place. The business capability is not.

General-purpose AI does not automatically understand an organization's language, workflows, rules, systems, exceptions, or lines of responsibility. A tool may generate content or complete a task, but the organization still has to decide what it should do, how its work will be evaluated, who retains authority, and how failure will be handled.

Business capability
General models
Business context
Consistent execution
Copilots and agents
Task methods and workflows
Testable quality
Work and coding tools
Tool and system access
Controlled authority

Evaluation, governance, ownership
Maintainable operation
  1. 01

The tools are active, but the workflow has not changed.

  2. 02

AI can produce an answer without understanding company rules or accountability.

  3. 03

The demo works, but the organization cannot yet evaluate, own, or operate it.

FROM BUSINESS REALITY TO OPERABLE CAPABILITY

From a real business problem to an AI capability the organization can own.

FDE Delta is not a fixed maturity ladder. Each engagement starts with the business decision that matters now, and every Gate can lead to continue, revise, stop, or defer.

02

ENGINEER THE CAPABILITY

Proof & Control

Use representative cases, human authority, fallback, and three layers of measures to decide whether the capability should enter real work.

BUSINESS AI CAPABILITY PACK

The deliverable is a business capability—not an isolated prompt or skill.

The final deliverables depend on the approved business problem and engagement boundary. A complete capability pack may include decision, capability, assurance, adoption, and operating assets, but a diagnostic engagement does not silently promise production integration or automation.

  1. 01

    Decision assets

Business diagnosis, opportunity portfolio, priority use case, and next decision.

  2. 02

Business context, task instructions, skills, workflows, platform adapters, and necessary connections.

  3. 03

    Assurance assets

Golden cases, evaluation, permissions, failure modes, fallback, and known limitations.

  4. 04

    Adoption assets

User guidance, role-based enablement, training, and internal champions.

START SMALL / LEARN WITH EVIDENCE

Start with one real problem—not a large AI transformation program.

Each module produces a reviewable decision. Work proceeds only when business value, evidence, authority, and the conditions for the next step are sufficiently clear.

  1. 01 / AI Value Diagnostic

Find the right problem, calibrate AI expectations, and define the first credible capability opportunity.

    TYPICAL OUTPUT
Business-reality diagnostic, tool-usage map, opportunity portfolio, priority use case, and capability blueprint.
    BOUNDARY
Does not automatically include a built skill, workflow, integration, or production deployment.
    CONTINUE / STOP
  2. 02 / Business AI Capability Sprint

Design, configure, and evaluate one bounded business AI capability in an approved tool environment.

    TYPICAL OUTPUT
Capability specification, business context, platform adapter, evaluation, and validation report.
    BOUNDARY
Builds only the minimum implementation required to test the business capability.
    CONTINUE / STOP
  3. 03 / Capability Adoption & Scale

Place an accepted capability into controlled use and establish ownership, operation, value review, and selective expansion.

    TYPICAL OUTPUT
Enablement, operating model, release process, value review, and expansion backlog.
    BOUNDARY
Expansion requires a fresh review of value, authority, risk, cost, and maintainability.
    CONTINUE / STOP

The full Operating Partnership chapter will open in a later accepted batch.

PUBLIC PRACTICE

Build independent systems so the operating ideas can be inspected.

These projects expose different parts of the working method. They are not client case studies and do not represent proven customer outcomes.

Public practice demonstrates working methods and building capability. It is not evidence of client outcomes, production readiness, or universal validity.

BEGIN WITH ONE REAL WORKFLOW

Bring the workflow that still does not work.

We can first define the business outcome, actual workflow, evidence, authority, and the smallest useful next move—then decide whether the work needs a skill, workflow, system connection, or broader transformation scope.

To begin, share the business task, the AI tools already in use, the main difficulty, the people involved, and the next decision the organization needs to make.
